The Process
We will
provide the expertise, working beside the manager or director and their team, as
mentor and coach, helping them develop the skills required to meet the challenge
and perform the new function. We will be on hand to provide the expertise for as
long as it takes to put in place and implement the strategy or till the
team feel they are ready to do it themselves.
Alternatively we can devise Strategy, produce Business or Marketing Plans,
prepare Forecasts or successful Funding Applications for you and even place a
skilled Non-Executive Director to ensure that Board Meetings are productive,
run smoothly and comply with your legal obligations.
Should the organisation decide to bring in someone then we help you compile
a
skill /experience /personality profile so you can be sure to specify
and recruit
the 'right' individual.
The Procedure
After gaining initial agreement from our clients, we carry out an audit of the business to confirm our understanding of the history of the business, its' current health and its'
aspirations or perceived threats. This is fed back to you, the client, in an "Initial Report".
We would then proceed to jointly compile an
"Action Plan" which we would both sign up to. This would form the contract and
outlines the operating remit of both the client and Business Directions.
From there Business Directions will provide regular
"Progress Reports" which form the milestones as identified in the
"Action
Plan" which the client signs off. Contract agreed "Progress
Payments" would fall due upon these being signed off.
When the
"Action Plan" has been
fulfilled, assuming that the work is not on-going, a "Final
Report" will be prepared by Business Directions detailing that which
has been carried out, the measure of any future monitoring and the criteria
behind which further intervention may be necessary.
